Setting Up Open Timeframes

How barbers can open extra availability outside their normal Business Hours with Open Timeframes, and how to notify clients about the new opening.

Add Extra Availability to Your Calendar

Need to open your schedule outside of your normal business hours? Open Timeframes let you make additional time available for clients to book without changing your regular hours.

This is useful for holidays, special availability, last-minute openings, or anytime you decide to take appointments outside your normal schedule.

Open a Timeframe

How to Open Extra Availability

  1. Open your Calendar.

  2. Tap the button.

  3. Select Open Timeframe.

  4. Choose the date and start/end time you'd like to make available.

  5. Review the details and tap Open.

Once saved, that timeframe becomes available for clients to book.

💡 Tip: Open Timeframes are great when you want to add availability without changing your regular Business Hours.

Let Your Clients Know You're Available

After you tap Open, you'll have the option to notify your client list about your newly available time.

You'll see a preview of the message before anything is sent.

  • Send the message if you want to let clients know you're available.

  • Tap Cancel if you want to open the timeframe without notifying your client list.

📈 Business Tip: If you're opening last-minute availability, letting your clients know can help you fill the time faster. This can be especially useful around holidays, cancellations, or unexpected openings in your schedule.

Good to Know

Open Timeframes Don't Change Your Regular Business Hours

Opening a timeframe adds availability for the date and time you select. You don't need to change your normal Business Hours just because you want to work additional hours on a particular day.

Notes and Tags Aren't Currently Available

You can't currently add a note or tag to an Open Timeframe.

Best Practices

  • Use Open Timeframes when you want to work outside your normal Business Hours.

  • Double-check the date and time before saving so clients only see availability you intend to offer.

  • Consider notifying your client list when you're trying to fill a last-minute opening.

  • Keep your regular Business Hours accurate and use Open Timeframes for exceptions or additional availability.
