What to Know Before You Go
Thinking about leaving theCut? Here's what to check first, and how to delete your account (or just one profile) the right way.
⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Before You Begin
Have questions or concerns before deleting? Reach out first — we're happy to help:
In-App Support — Help & Resources
Email — [email protected]
Then, before proceeding:
Verify Appointments — make sure you don't have any pending, confirmed, or requested appointments on your account.
Check Your Subscription — confirm your PRO subscription has been downgraded to LITE so you're not charged again. Manage it in the Subscription Portal.
Delete Your Account
How to Delete Your Account
Make sure your app is fully updated through your app store.
Go to Account Settings > Edit Barber Profile.
Tap Delete Account.
Enter the email and password associated with your account to verify it's you.
Follow any remaining prompts to complete the deletion.
Delete Just a Profile
If you have both a barber and client profile linked to one account, you can delete just one without deleting the whole account.
How to Delete a Single Profile
Tap Edit Client Profile (or Edit Barber Profile) below your profile image.
Tap Delete Profile.
Good to Know
Having trouble finding the delete option? Make sure you're on the profile you actually want to delete — barber and client profiles each have their own Edit Profile menu with their own deletion option.
Best Practices
Downgrade your subscription before deleting to avoid extra charges.
Reach out to Support first if something's fixable — we'd rather help than see you go.
Double check you're on the right profile (barber vs. client) before deleting.
