Forgot Password?

In the login page in app, you are able to request a Reset Password Link. You will need to provide the email address that is linked to your barber account. Within a few minutes you should receive an email from us with this link. If not, please be sure to reach out to us in case there are some blockers!

Step-by-Step Process for Password Reset

  1. On the app’s login screen, tap the Forgot Password link.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your account. An email with a password reset link will be sent to you.

    • Check your spam, junk, or promotions/social folders if the email isn’t in your inbox. Important Notes:

  • The reset link expires after a certain time and can only be used once.

  • If the link expires or does not work, return to the app and request a new reset link by tapping Forgot Password again.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide

The following steps can help resolve login issues systematically.

For some of our users, logging in may be challenging when their device is connected to an unstable network, leading to the display of either a "Forbidden" or "Network Connection Error" message. To troubleshoot network connectivity issues, try the following: disable Wi-Fi and use mobile data, or vice versa. Restart your router or modem if you're on Wi-Fi and test login functionality on different networks.

Troubleshooting Password Reset Issues

If resetting your password doesn’t seem to work, try the following solutions:

  1. Verify for any errors or messages that appear when attempting to reset your password and follow any specific instructions provided.

  2. Ensure you are using the reset link sent to your email and that the link has not expired.

  3. Allow a few hours for the system to process your password reset request, then try again.

  4. Check that the theCut app is updated to the latest version from your app store.

In cases where users have full service yet encounter a "Forbidden" error, it is possible that a secondary service on their device is blocking access to our servers. To resolve this, users should check for and disable any VPN services that may be interfering with the login process. Additionally, ensure your app is updated to the latest version. Open the app and navigate to Settings > Check for Updates or visit your device's app store to manually check and install any updates.

If you don’t receive the password reset email:

If the issue persists despite confirming the absence of secondary services and maintaining a stable network connection, users are encouraged to contact us directly for further assistance at [email protected]. Before contacting support, users can also try reinstalling the application as this may resolve persistent issues. Uninstall the app, download it again from your app store, and attempt logging in.

For some of our users, logging in may be challenging when their device is connected to an unstable network, leading to the display of either a "Forbidden" or "Network Connection Error" message.

To address this, we recommend troubleshooting by switching between wifi and data connections to identify the stronger signal. It's important to note that having two bars or less may contribute to login issues.
