Fraudsters are sending fake text messages that appear to come from theCut. Here are the red flags:
Messages promising rewards or credits from theCut
Suspicious links containing "TheCut" or "TheCut Financial Team"
Fake login pages that steal your password
We will NOT ask for your CASHAPP
They may ask similar questions about what you would do with a certain amount of money, your business goals, expenses, or other topics that seem harmless.
This is meant to open the door to a conversation. Once you respond, they may gradually ask for personal information, account details, verification codes, login information, payment information, or other sensitive details.

Do not engage or continue the conversation.
Do NOT provide any personal or account information.
Do NOT click any links.
Take screenshots of the entire conversation.
REPORT AS SPAM and BLOCK THE NUMBER/CONTACT.
Send the screenshots to [email protected] so our team can review and document the attempt.
Already Responded or Shared Information?
If you only responded to the initial conversation, stop communicating with the sender and block them.
If you shared your password, verification code, payout information, or other sensitive account information:
Reset your password immediately.
Review your email, account information, and payout settings for unauthorized changes.
Contact theCut Support immediately if anything looks unfamiliar.
