Bring Your Existing Clients to theCut
Inviting your existing clients makes it easier to manage your appointments, grow your client list, and encourage repeat bookings through the app.
Before You Begin
Before inviting clients, make sure:
Your profile is complete and ready to accept bookings.
You've added your services and business hours.
Your booking link is active.
Once your clients join theCut, they'll be able to book appointments directly through your profile.
Option 1: Invite Clients from Your Home Screen
The quickest way to invite clients is from the Home screen.
Open your Home screen.
Find Invite under Quick Actions.
Tap Invite.
Select the client or clients you'd like to invite.
Send your invitation.
💡 Tip: Don't see Invite? Swipe left through your Quick Actions to view additional shortcuts.
Option 2: Invite Clients from Your Clients List
You can also invite clients while managing your client list.
Open Clients.
Tap right hand corner button to Invite Client.
Select the client or clients you'd like to invite.
Send your invitation.
Both methods use the same invitation process, so choose whichever is most convenient.
Find the Right Client Quickly
If you have a large client list, use the Search bar to quickly find the client you'd like to invite.
Searching by name is much faster than scrolling through your entire contact list.
Remove a Client Before Sending
Need to make a change before sending your invitations?
Simply de-select on a client at the top of the screen to remove them from your invite list.
Review your selections before sending to make sure you're inviting the right people.
Good to Know
Inviting a client doesn't automatically create an account for them.
Your client will receive an invitation with a link and instructions on how to connect with you and book appointments through theCut.
Best Practices
The fastest way to build your business on theCut is to start with the clients who already know and trust your work.
We recommend inviting clients who currently book with you:
By text message
Over the phone
Through social media
In person
Using another booking platform
You don't have to invite everyone at once. Make it part of your daily routine by inviting clients after each appointment or whenever you meet someone new.
